Be Ready For Anything!

In The Know

Hello everyone,

When it comes to work, I am no stranger. I worked at a custom
cabinet shop for a few years, then I thought like a lot of guys do and thought let’s
do the Military thing for a while. Recruitment took a while, and I already left
my last job. Now I’m out of money and have no job. Picture this, at the gym…
chillin’ with the guys… gettin’ those gains… dude walks up and asked if we
needed or wanted a job. So then I was a bouncer at a night club, fun times. Months
go by and now here I am doing it… The NAVY… it’s been wild, but let’s just say I’ll
be happy when its over. That whole joining at 23 and the next birthday you turn
45, I get it now.

Turns out, Hungover Apparel is the way out. There is lots of things
that the Military has taught me, its now time for me to take those skills and make
them my own. From working with fighter jets, living on an aircraft carrier,
deployment, and all the commands along the way, it makes you look at things different.
Law enforcement in the military is not the same as law enforcement as a civilian,
each has its own set of challenges. I’m proud to say that I have been able to
learn something from all my partners. Working with the K9 units has been the
most rewarding part to me. It makes you realize all the things you do and how
they affect those around you. The smallest movement, the tone of your voice,
the idea that if you get to use the skills that you train for all day, every
day, that it could make all the difference.
